Vintage Muscatel is the tea we put our name on. Whole-leaf Darjeeling black tea with the muscatel character the region is known for: fruity-sweet, mellow, with a long clean finish and no harshness. Drink it without milk and it keeps giving for two or three steeps.
Why it costs ₹1,100
It is single-estate, not a blend. The leaf is grown at 6,900 ft on Happy Valley Tea Estate in Kurseong, where the estate has been picking since 1854, and only lots showing the muscatel character are selected for this caddy. Whole leaves mean nothing is broken to bulk it out, so the tin holds fewer, larger leaves than a commodity pack of the same weight.
At about ₹16 a cup, it is roughly what a cup of ordinary tea costs in a café — for a tea that is normally sold as a gift-grade Darjeeling.
How to brew
2 g tea · 180 ml water at 80°C · steep 2–3 minutes. Without milk, so the muscatel and natural sweetness stay clear. Steep the same leaves again for a lighter second cup.

Shipping charges and payment
Shipping is ₹50 on orders below ₹1,299 and free on orders of ₹1,299 or more. Cash on Delivery carries an extra ₹40 fee. The shipping method and any applicable charge shown at checkout apply to the order.
Tracking
When tracking is available, details will be sent after dispatch. Tracking may take some time to update after the courier receives the parcel.
