First Flush Darjeeling Black Tea — spring-picked whole leaf tea from Happy Valley Tea Estate, Darjeeling. Light, floral and brisk, with a pale-gold liquor.
Why it’s worth it: This is whole-leaf Darjeeling tea grown at Happy Valley at 6,900 ft — not commodity tea dust. Carefully plucked during the first flush season and packed in an airtight caddy to preserve its delicate aroma and character.
- Estate-grown: Happy Valley Tea Estate, Darjeeling
- Whole leaf: 100 g makes approximately 50 cups
- Certified organic practices: Grown and produced in India
- Taste: Light, floral, brisk and refreshing
How to brew: 2 g tea · 180 ml water · 85°C · steep 3–4 minutes. Remove the leaves without squeezing.
Best enjoyed: Plain, especially in the morning, so the delicate first-flush character stays clear.
